Instead, purchase a Broad Spectrum CBD. When legal and lab tested, the broad spectrums have non-detectable levels of THC. Broad Spectrum is the CBD of choice when THC is not an option.

The short answer is: “Always consult your primary physician before any plan of prolonged use of CBD in conjunction of prescription medications – period.”

There are studies that suggest certain medications can potentially utilize the same receptors as CBD and vice versa. If taken together and… Let’s say, CBD binds to these receptors first, your prescription medication may not be broken down as intended, miss binding to those used receptors and be passed to the liver in a concentrated form potentially causing liver damage. In addition, neither medication nor CBD are delivered as a full dose. Thus, long periods of misuse may be doing more damage than repair.

For example: pets have many, many more receptors in there brains than what their human counterparts do. Edibles: Taking CBD through the digestive system is a suitable method of using CBD, just know that you are losing a portion of your dose as it passes through your system. Knowing this you should adjust your dose accordingly. It is suggested, depending on the source of your research… you may lose up to half, especially if the manufacturer baked both the CBD and the product together.

Any pet suffering from anxiety is a potential benefactor when taking CBD if taken correctly. So people with fur babies suffering from anxiety should look for a Calming or Sleep formula. CBD (Cannabidiol) is technically legal in the United States, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. These legal protections are defined as: CBD must be cultivated from hemp plants and CBD cultivated from hemp plants that contain THC will contain no more than 0.3%.
